Swiss Army Knife Florist

Thought I would re crank this blog up as it still seems to be getting followers and hits. I have limited things to review but ill do the best I can.

First up is a SAK Florist, i did not actually know the model as I purchased it on hols last year in Lanzarote for about €17, as its UK legal with a sub 3″ folding blade.

I thought it looked a bit classy and is sheeple friendly.

It has a chisel ground blade, not the best but it suffices for EDC purposes.

I did have an issue with the original I brought as although I tap was initially sharp it seemed to get blunt rather quickly and burr up.

I contacted SAK in UK and suggested the blade was hitting the backplate on closing and causing dulling of the blade through mis alignment.

I did send it off and they did replace it FOC but it was not a courteous service and when it was returned no apology note or compliment slip which I thought a bit offish.

Anyhow, the knife it’s self is fine and I had EDC’d it a lot and it serves well for all purposes.

Closed length 11cm or 4″

Blade length 5.5cm or 2.5″

Open length 17cm or 6.5″

Pros
Looks nice and stylish
UK law compliant
Serves purpose well
Nice and grippy

Cons
Would prefer a normal SAK grind rather than chisel grind.
Other than that it’s fine for the price.
