Polymath Revolver .38 & Magnum EDC Organiser Review by UKEDC

New Product from the guys at Polymath.  I really rate their gear and Luke and Sam come up with belting ideas and innovative products, keep it up guys!!

Luke from Polymath gave a sneaky preview in a photo a while back, I saw it wondered what it was and thought nothing more of it.  Luke contacted me and said he was sending me both variants to assess and review, thanks Luke your generosity helps keep my blog alive.

Its basically an EDC Key organiser based on the chamber of a Pistol, hence the product being named Revolver.

Available in 2 sizes the .38 the smaller of the 2 and the Magnum a larger model featuring one more chamber i.e. 6 in stead of 5.  Made of a non homonagous carbon steel which has colour case hardening it looks really cool the colours will vary slightly on each one which is also pretty cool, this finish also reflects the guns of the old wild west.  The magnum also features the centre part acting as a bit holder for standard screwdriver bits.

It comes in a burlap presentation pouch and has split rings and clips to attach your EDC to and in turn attach to the Revolver of your choice.

I have been a fan of”clipping” on and off keys and EDC items as my EDC can vary on a day to day basis, for example my wife and I share 2 cars I usually drive my old Jeep and she usually drives our Ford but we do switch occasionally, so why carry 2 sets of car keys when you can change with a simple clip when required.

Same as going to the pub or out for a meal, I will remove my penknife and reduce my carry.

This is a really clever product, it holds your keys/EDC and kind of separates them and makes them easier to access without bulking your pocket out, it actually seems to make everything fit a lot better.

You can also attach to your belt loop via a clip for outside carry and ease of access, or attach a lanyard and clip to a loop if you are out and about to prevent loss.

The revolver is one of those things you don’t really know you want it till you have seen one in the flesh as it were, until you see how well it functions and how it seems to make your EDC more manageable.

To put it another way, my EDC has not changed for years as followers of this blog and my other channels will know, but on receiving my Revolvers my whole EDC changed instantly and is easily adjusted to suit my daily requirements.

I have gone more minimal now and have ditched the KeySmart for standard keys, also removed the SAK manager.  I have included a Spydergo Bug and Titanium Toothpick as seen in pictures below both the new and old EDC variants on the Revolver.

Its hard to do it justice in words, pictures and on the video below.  but once you have one you really get the whole concept.
