Neat little personal tags made in the USA by mydogtag.com

Really simple to design your own on probably the most user friendly interface I have seen on a website.

Various colours, and choices of silencers, and carrying options, for a reasonable price.

Great identifier for our friends with health issues as tags can incorporate the Staff of Life emblem to alert the emergency services if needed.

Consider  getting some to identify your luggage, keys, or perhaps your group, maybe you are a member of a football, hockey, airsoft, paintball, martial arts group or team.

Cheap as chips at just 7.99 USD and the postage is very reasonable also.

Not only do they supply tags, also lots of EDC and survival gear, see the photo and accompanying video for more details.

10% off buy using UKEDC at checkout.

Another great updated and re engineered survival device by Luke and Sam at Polymath designed by the guys and made here in the UK.

The Nav bead is a nice small sized liquid filled compass with a 20 mm glow in the dark photoluminescent panel on the reverse.

Contained in a surrounding rubber material which can be detached from a neck strap via a clip.

Ideal as the panel when charged with natural daylight or charged with a torch will glow for up-to 45 mins, with night vision adjustment, the bead its self will continue to glow for up to 12 hours at reduced luminosity, and of course it can be recharged when needed indefinitely.

The idea of a rechargeable bead is to use as a map reading light in dark conditions when the compass is hovered over a map there is enough light to enable map reading, saving torch time, glare and conserving batteries.

The bead can also be used to spot a fellow group member,  attract attention by swinging on the supplied neck cord, or mark kit if not to far from camp.

This also comes with a 75 cm paracord neck strap in black or glow in the dark green, what I like is the guys have thought of everything and incorporated a quick release snap on the neck lanyard, if you should be come entangled it will pop free and not strangle you, nice bit of H & S.  I prefer the GITD lanyard personally as its easier to spot.

A nice bit of gear for all us campers, hikers, bushcrafters etc to hang around our necks.

Ideal bit of kit priced at just £6.99 available HERE

This is really neat!! I did not think I was going to like this but I loved it form the moment I saw it.

A single piece cutting tool, screwdriver and pry tool in a nice neat compact package.

The blade is nice and sharp and the pry tool one of the best I have used, it feels really solid and fits the hand well.

The leather (real leather) pouch retains the tool well and has a hole or loop to attach to an item of your choice, ideal for a keying or lanyard.

Another tool I have EDC’d for about a week and feel my self utilising a fair bit.

Another bargain from http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk which is rapidly becoming my go to UK EDC site for £9.70 another bargain priced EDC tool.

Pros

Strong

Great Pry tool

Small

Great retaining pouch

Cons

None.
